Resources for Researchers
Hello there! Here in PINE Lab, we characterize the environments we experience as part of our research. We feel academia is in many ways quite a poorly-characterized environment (publicly at least) that can be very difficult to navigate! This provides unfair advantages to those with privileged networks. Below please find resources we have created or collated that we hope will 1) help everyone at any stage understand the academic system and how to move within this environment successfully, and 2) highlight ways this environment can and should change (that you can implement as an individual) to become more welcoming for everyone who wants to pursue science. We will update this page continually, and if you know of other resources we should add, please email us at Northeastern.Pinelab@gmail.com. Thanks!
