Ellie Underwood
Ellie (she/her/hers) graduated from Harvard in 2019, with a degree in Neurobiology on the Mind, Brain, Behavior track and a secondary major in Global Health and Health Policy. As an undergraduate, she worked in the Hensch Lab studying critical periods of plasticity, and her senior honors thesis focused on the development of a behavioral test to assess depth perception in mice. After graduation, she became a Clinical Research Coordinator at Boston Children's Hospital, working primarily on the GABA study evaluating the effects of anesthesia on infant neurodevelopment. Outside of academics, Ellie enjoys spending my time dancing, running, and otherwise staying active.
